Multan—The 774th Urs Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya Multani commenced after traditional “Ghusal” of the shrine, performed by Minister of State for Religious Affairs Pir Muhammad Aminul Hasnaat Shah and caretaker Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Monday.
Addressing the participants, the minister paid rich tribute to the great saint and said the world always remembered those who served humanity. He added the saint had propagated the message of love, peace, hope and unity.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also addressed the first session of the Zakariya conference and highlighted different aspects of life of the great saint. He also announced establishing “Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya Langar Khana” to facilitate.
He also urged local police to vacate the Langar Khana building, situated near the tomb, constructed by the Punjab government
