Campus-less Nawaz Sharif Agri University starts classes
The Nawaz Sharif Agriculture University Multan has started functioning as Bahauddin Zakariya University Vice Chancellor Dr Kh Alqama inaugurated its classes here on Monday. Initially the classes will take place at Mango Research Institute.
Speaking on the occasion, the VC said that with the establishment of Agriculture University a longstanding dream of the residents of Multan came true.
A bill has been passed on name of Nawaz Sharif Agriculture University Multan. People have concerns about this name. They want it to be changed to Quaid-e-Azam Agriculture University. But Punjab assembly, with PMLN dominant has passed a bill against this change.
