Pakistan: 1,500 tons of Kinoos exported from Multan

As much as 1,500 tons of kinnow (a citrous fruit) left Multan for various destinations this week.

Fruit exporter, Azam Sabri said that it was the first time such a big quantity of kinnow was exported to Dubai, Singapore, UAE, Russia and Bangladesh after passing through the city for treatment, including washing.

He said he had hopes for rising demand in Europe, as this was a high value market. At the same time, he lamented the loss of the Iranian market as a result of sanctions.
