The first Hajj flight from Multan airport carrying 497 pilgrims

hajjMULTAN: The first Hajj flight from Multan airport carrying 497 pilgrims, left for Hijaz-e-Muqaddas on Sunday. According to sources, the pilgrims reached Haji Camp on Saturday and after clearance they were taken to MultanAirport.

Incharge PM's Camp Office Multan and MPA Syed Ahmed Mujtuba Gilani, Joint Secretary Religious Affairs, saw off the pilgrims. On this occasion, Syed Ahmed Mujtuba Gilani felicitated the pilgrims and stressed upon to follow rules and regulation during their stay in Saudi Arabia.

He said pilgrims are ambassador of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia. He also urged them to pray for progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

Syed Ahmed Mujtuba Gilani also informed that the government had expanded MultanAirport with an objective to provide maximum relief to local people. He said Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani played an important role in providing direct Hajj flight facility from Multan.

On this occasion, PM's media coordinator Khawaja Rizwan Aalam was also present.
