Chungi reffers to Mahsul Chungi which is now moder Toll Plaza. These Chungi were to collect the tax from the trades having Multan city with others. Those days these Chungi were made on the roads which were leaving out of the city but now with the expansion of the city all Chungi came inside the city and even Chungi No 9 is said to be the hot spot and center of city.
