Establishing Coal Power Plant in Multan


China and Pakistan on Sunday signed three memorandums of understanding for initiating power generation projects.
Under the memorandums‚ China's Western Power Company will install two plants of 660 MWs in Sahiwal and 150 MW plant each in Lahore‚ Faisalabad and Multan.
A Solid Waste Power Plant will also be established in Punjab.
Punjab Chef Minister Shahbaz Sharif appreciated the agreement and said that billions of dollars world of investment will be made under these projects.
He said these projects will help promote friendly relations between the two countries.
