Seminar zeroes in on working women

MULTAN: Society and the government should play a role in minimizing problems faced by working women and offer them maximum incentives to ensure their maximum participation in improving the national economy.
These views were expressed by Sajida Langah, an activist of Saraekistan Youth Parliament, at a seminar held under the auspices of Rohi Development Organisation and Shama Banaspatti.
Speakers including Dr Farooq Langah, Syed Farhad Haider Shah, Jawad Amin Shiekh, Yasmeen Khakwani, Mrs Najma Khatoon, Dr Ziauddin and Dr Rozeena Shiekh said that society should appreciate working women instead of criticism.
They said that working women were facing problems due to outdated customs in society. They said that working women could change the economic condition of the country.
Rohi Development Organisation Multan also distributed stitching machines among deserving women. (APP)
