20 CCTV cameras at Sabzi Mandi Multan

About 20 CCTV cameras are being installed at Sabzi Mandi besides deployment of police and market committee inspectors in plainclothes. This was disclosed by District Coordination Officer (DCO) Zahid Saleem Gondal during his surprise visit to the Sabzi Mandi. He directed the price magistrates to ensure their presence at Sabzi Mandi and all other markets and bazaars for keeping the prices under control. He expressed satisfaction on sanitation conditions in the mandi and issued order for planting new saplings at the main roundabout of the mandi.
Briefing the DCO, the secretary market committee said that Rs55,000 fine had so far been realised from profiteers during current month and all traders were being monitored regularly. Section 144 in and around examination centres
Meanwhile, the DCO has imposed Section 144 ppc in and around the examination centres set up for BA, BSC, PTC, CT, BEd, MPhil and PhD examinations to check utilization of unfair means. The entry of all unauthorised and irrelevant persons in examination centres as well as taking support material or books inside the centre has also been banned. The DCO has also imposed ban on utilization or installation of Photostat machine within 500 meter radius of examination centres. The ban has come into force forthwith.
