Tourism as Subject for Teaching in BZU Multan?

‘Pakistan is home to world’s oldest civilizations’
MULTAN, Sept 10 (APP): Pakistan is home to world’s oldest civilizations and there is dire need to make available sufficient facilities for the promotion of tourism in the country. Vice Chancellor Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), Prof Dr Khawaja Alqama, said this while talking to a delegation of Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) which called on him on Tuesday at his office. 
Besides Ghandhara Civiliztion, he added, Pakistan has got several historic building of British era.
The country has all charming seasons and a rich variety of cultural traditions from the one end of the country to the other, the VC commented.
He underlined the need for resolving problems like professional guides, availability of scrumptious dishes, affordable tour packages and security.
Dr Alqama suggested the introduction of tourism as a subject along with training at college and university levels in addition to launching of concessional packages for students.
The BZU VC said that in this way students would get a chance to have a look at scenic beauty of the country.
